"On our first look at 3 Cherry Way we liked it and knew it could work for us. We did however, do our homework and looked at other communities before deciding. On our second visit to 3 Cherry Way, we picked out a lot, signed a contract to build, and were given a closing date about 7.5 months out. It was a pleasure working with the entire staff throughout the entire process, and despite some of our friends telling us we would need to extend our apartment rental " at least a month or more ", we closed right on schedule and moved in that same day. "Diane and I had been looking for a place to settle when we downsized. We decided on looking for 55+ communities for the benefits of that lifestyle and began our search on-line. We chose the Charlotte area because it is halfway between our families in Maryland and Florida, the climate is moderate, and it’s close to the mountains we love.
We took our time visiting senior communities in and around Charlotte. When we visited 3 Cherry Way, we were very impressed by the quality of home construction – brick vs stick – and almost every upgrade we wanted was standard in the house. The floor plans were free flowing, with generous sized rooms and a staircase to the attic storage/bonus room.
It seemed too good to be true so we continued to visit other communities in Charlotte. But the quality of construction, ideal floor plans, upgrades as standard and price continued to draw us back to 3 Cherry Way. In fact, on the third return visit we felt as though we were coming home. That’s when we made the decision to move to 3 Cherry Way. We arrived in April, 2017 and were pleasantly surprised to be immediately, and warmly, welcomed by every resident we have met.
